Kuala Lumpur, 25thst February 2016 – Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) will be increasing the number of trips on its KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit services effective 1st March 2016 to accommodate the needs of its air travellers and commuting passengers.
For KLIA Ekspres, peak hour schedule will be introduced on Sundays for the convenience of business travellers. With the new schedule, trains will run every 15 minutes during the morning peak hours starting from 6:00am to 9:00am and the evening peak hours from 4:00pm to 10:00pm from Sunday to Friday. Trains will run every 20 minutes during off-peak hours. Saturday will continue to remain on off-peak schedule all day.
Meanwhile, for KLIA Transit, there will be additional services during the weekday morning and evening peak hours with trains departing every 20 minutes or three services per hour. The morning peak hours are from approximately 6:00am to 9:00am while the evening peak hours are from approximately 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

Express Rail Link (ERL) is the operator of KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit train services that connect Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA & KLIA2) and the city. The non-stop journey on KLIA Ekspres between KL Sentral and KLIA takes only 28 minutes. Passengers can continue their journey to KLIA2 which only takes 3 minutes.
The KLIA Transit service stops at three intermediate stations i.e. Bandar Tasik Selatan, Putrajaya & Cyberjaya and Salak Tinggi, with a total journey time between KL Sentral and KLIA of 35 minutes.
